  they reason that.

  just like the jws, the police will not convict a pedophile over the story of one victim alone, there must be collaborative evidence.

  The "victim" is a witness to the crime. The Perpetrator is a witness to the crime.

  Where in The Book does it say that the "witnesses" must be external to the crime?

  Why should the Perpetrator enjoy a man-made advantage?

  Lloyd Evans' New Book - Is It Really Necessary?

  so lloyd evans will shortly be releasing his new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.

  i do enjoy his rebuttals and the stuff he manages to get hold of and leak.

  but i'm struggling to understand what he could possibly write to merit a whole book.. all info on how to leave is right here on this forum.

  In answer to the opening question: Yes, we do!

  We need as much variety and diversity as possible in the stories and accounts of personal experiences with the WTBorg Cult Inc. as is humanly possible. The more the better in order to reach as many as possible with TTATT. Something for the individual tastes of the whole crowd so that none are left out.

  real curry recipe?

  many of you here from other countries talk about going out for curry, can i replicate this at home?

  anyone have a good recipe?

  so would appreciate an authentic recipe for it.

  I got hooked on Curry Rice while in Japan for several years. Today when I wish to prepare Curry I go to the local Japanese Market and buy an 8.4 oz. (240 g.) box of S&B Golden Curry which is offered in several degrees of "hotness" or spiciness. I prefer "Mild." According to the directions brown your meat of choice in a pan with oil or butter, add diced onions to saute then throw it into a pot with your diced potatoes, carrots, water and any other ingredients you desire and add the curry paste. Simmer and stir until its (the Curry paste) all melted and smooth and the veggies are fully cooked then enjoy.

  I've tried Thai Curry at a local restaurant which is prepared with Coconut Milk and that is tasty too. Frankly, I prefer the Japanese style.

  Curry is one of those magical foods that just hits the spot that others aren't able to.

  Helpless and Very Sad Grandmother

  i am the grandmother of the runaway 18year old girl who is now living with her 22 year old idiot.

  this person has totally brainwashed my granddaughter and is continuing to separate her from our family.

  i feel so helpless that there is nothing we can do to make her see this - no money, no identity, and a servant to him and his family.

  The guy is a "Homie" in "The Valley" who now has brought home his "Trophy Bitch." Sorry for the coarse language but that is all the girl means to him. Boys in the Barrio are big trouble. She, the girl, is in danger.

  The girl may be 18 years of age but she certainly isn't an Adult. She has been deceptively lured into a Cult of One by a most dishonorable young man of 22 years and taken into captivity with his most dishonorable family. She is in danger.

  After leaving the JWs - Has anyone stayed with Christianity?

  i recently made the decision to stop studying with my study conductor, due to a situation i found myself in that led to a high possibility of my unbaptized publisher "rights" being taken away from me.

  i have since told my study conductor i have joined a new church (to which she dropped me like a hot rock, of course).... last time i posted on here, i was progressing nicely towards baptism, and was well into it.anyhoo, i like my new church, very hillsong-esqe.

  so just wondering if anyone else has stayed the course of christianity after leaving the jws, and if so - where did you go?

  The range of responses is nothing short of amazing! What is perhaps most puzzling is that quite a number indicate that they've become anti-Christian or anti-Bible.

  What drew me to the witnesses as a teenager was their apparent zeal for studying The Word and proclaiming The Gospel. Luckily within two years I realized that the appearance was sham and was able to make my escape through the Navy.

  I've always been a believer and find the evidence for our Creator in the Creation to be exceedingly great. My research over the years has verified that few have much of what is True and the vast majority has little that is True. None of the churches have the whole Truth and too many are quite corrupted. Consequently, I've not been drawn to any churches, but instead have found study and teaching groups which do not require membership and which do not attempt to exert any controls or place pressure upon any who desire to participate. Their comprehension of The Word and Prophecy has been incredibly stimulating and comforting. We are truly near the end of this age and events which are soon to take place in the Middle East will confirm that the End of Babylon the Great is fast approaching. That is Really Good News!

  Newspaper is interested in interviewing me!!!

  a friend and client and former politician just called me.

  he knows people in the media and had offered a few months back to see if anyone would be interested in doing a story on what i'm doing through my podcasts this jw life" and "shunned".

  of course i was excited but things take time and you never know if they'll pan out.

  Truth (Real Truth that is) will always find a way to rise into the light of day for all to see. Exposing what claims to be "Truth" in all of its gory and little known details is not always appreciated so it is very gratifying to see how your efforts are blossoming! Excellent news!

  they are living together with the mother's permission in her house along with 10 other family members.

  she is surrounded by jws 24 hours a day, seven days a week.. is there anyone in the columbia area who would be willing to help me - maybe meet for a cup of coffee or facetime.

  It is very difficult for anyone who hasn't been into the high crime and gang banger areas of Los Angeles to appreciate what the place is like.

  If my daughter had been lured into that location under those circumstances described by the distraught Mother I'd too be very, very concerned.

  Then of course there is the matter of your daughter

  being lured across state lines. Several state lines.

  You may have some legal options after all.

  Many x-Jws are still in a state of recovery from the

  trauma of very high level cult control and they do tend

  to be very judgmental. Even deluded into thinking that

  The Borg Cult does maintain high "moral standards."
  

  That the young man who effectively "abducted"

  your daughter was "out of state" to purchase guns

  and then returned to L.A. does not bode well.

  Most interesting story and commentary!

  It would seem that your vulnerable daughter has has fallen under the spell of a very skillful manipulator who is possibly a narcissist. Unfortunately, these kinds of "high control" situations never have happy endings. A "Cult of One" can be very difficult to break free from.

  Make the trip to discover all you can about the family, the young man who has infatuated your daughter to the point of controlling her and the health of your daughter. If she is to be rescued it must be done before too much time has gone by. Best done by professionals.
